9th Grade Optional Courses

Throughout the summer, High Jump graduates entering the ninth grade have the opportunity to participate in a post-graduate program consisting of three courses: English composition, French, and algebra. These courses are intended to deepen students’ experiences in each subject and help ease students' transition to college-preparatory schools.

High Jump helps to nurture the immense potential of Chicago’s most talented and motivated middle school students. Its work benefits not only our youth but all of Chicago. Through the organization’s innovative program to build academic and social skills and foster self-confidence, students increase their opportunities to attend the high school of their choice.
