HIGH JUMP ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012 FACULTY OPENINGS
Part-time seventh and eighth grade instructors: Language Arts, Physical Science (Chemistry & Physics), and Algebra (Math II)

Time Commitment and Location:

High Jump two-year program for 7th and 8th grade students
Session Dates: Saturday, September 17 – April 28, 2012, 8:00AM - 3:00PM
Location: Latin School of Chicago (45 W. North Blvd, Chicago, IL)

Important Program Dates & Required Meetings:
Faculty Orientation – September 10, 2011   
Staff Meetings (3:15PM - 4:45PM) – Oct. 15, Nov 19, Dec 12, Jan 21, Feb 25, March 10 and April 10
Session Debrief meeting – May 5, 2012

Qualifications: Candidates should have at least four years of prior teaching experience; a strong background in the course discipline, knowledge of typical middle school curricula is essential; an affinity for working with middle school aged children, excellent communication skills, sound judgment and emotional maturity. Undergraduate degree is required.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with schedule and experience.
